Presstream® Walksort®

Presstream Walksort is a variant of Presstream (our distribution service for customers who regularly post magazines, newspapers or journals in bulk within the UK), which offers an additional discount if the penetration index of 2% is reached and the mail sorted to postal walk.

Product Instructions
To use Presstream Walksort, at least one-sixth of the Periodical must contain editorial content and be published, posted and received at least twice a year. All items in a mailing must be the same shape, size and weight, unless you’ve a made special arrangement beforehand with us in writing.
You must have accurate Postcodes 100% of the mailing and you can’t use this service to send catalogues, brochures, directories or direct mail.
Your mailing must also reach a 2% penetration index, which means for every 100 addresses on your database, your items need to reach 2 of those addresses. We are able to check this for you with our Walksort Penetration calculator.
You can send mixed weight mailings, but the enhanced line listings must be used. Please refer to Chapter 2 Service Overview of the Mailsort User Guide. Your Account Manager can go through this with you in more detail or you can contact our sales centre on 08457 950 950.
Pricing
Presstream Walksort pricing is based on the format of the item to be mailed, its weight, and the delivery speed chosen. The price has a further 5.5% discount from standard Presstream prices. You can also apply for a profile price if you have over 3000 direct items. Profile prices are determined by how many copies you have for our designated postcode areas.
