Overview
mailmedia® is a highly economical and cost effective solution for advertising campaigns that include a response item.

Premier - delivery next working day (P)
Standard - delivery within three working days (S)

- You can choose from 3 types of mailing presentation
mailmedia® - simply prepare your mail so that our sorting machines can read the address of each mail item. Apply an approved Optical Character Recognition (OCR) font to our prescribed format. Only Letter format items are accepted. The entry level for mailmedia is 1000 and Premier and Standard service speeds are available.
mailmedia® Plus - sort and present your mail so that the address of each item can be read by our machines. Apply a Customer Bar Code (CBC) and computer sort your mailings according to the Mailsort 700 database. Only Letter format items are accepted. The entry level for mailmedia plus is 4000 and Premier, Standard and Economy service speeds are available.
mailmedia® Creative - sort and present your mail to make significant savings. Computer sort your mailings according to the Mailsort 1,400 database. Letters, Large Letters and A3 Packets are accepted on this service. The entry level for mailmedia plus is 4000 and Premier, Standard and Economy service speeds are available - mailmedia® gives you the flexibility to use any type of response item, from questionnaires and customer surveys, to order forms and member-get-member devices. We just ask that the response item displays a barcode with the reply address, so it can be read by our automated sorting machines. This allows us to monitor your response rate and deliver your replies sooner. Details of how to display barcodes will be sent to you when you apply for an account.
Product instructions
Mailings must be booked in advance
- You can book your mailing up to 12 months in advance of posting, but no later than 12 days before the posting (the date you hand the mail to us for delivery). You can book on line through www.royalmail.com/mailmedia.
When we receive your booking, we will provide you with:
- A booking reference
- Confirmation of details
- Ten days before your booking start date we will send you a booking acceptance letter. You need to confirm your mailing by signing and returning your completed booking acceptance letter. We have to receive this no later than four days before the posting date
Pricing
With a flat rate price on items weighing up to 100g, mailmedia can bring you significant savings on your mailings. You get discounts on both your outbound mailing and the replies from your customers - with response rates of up to 10% included in the price. And if you opt to sort your mail before handing it over to us for delivery, you will save even more.
